What is an Ideal Itinerary for Char Dham Yatra from Delhi?

Char Dham Yatra is a pilgrimage tour to four sacred temples Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. All these four places are located in Uttarakhand. If you are planning a spiritual tour from Delhi, you can follow this 11 days itinerary for chardham yatra.

Day 1: Drive from Delhi to Haridwar which is about 230 km. Witness Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri during the evening. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 2–3: Drive from Mussoorie to Barkot. On Day 3, trekking of 6 km from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri Temple. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 4–5: Move to Uttarkashi. On Day 5, drive to Gangotri and temple visit. Back to Uttarkashi.

Day 6–7: Drive to Guptkashi. On Day 7, go to Gaurikund and start trekking or you can travel by helicopter to Kedarnath. Overnight at Kedarnath or return to Guptkashi.

Day 8–9: Drive to Badrinath. Temple visit and nearby villages like Mana Village and Tapt Kund.

Day 10: Return via Rudraprayag or Srinagar.

Day 11: Return trip from Haridwar to Delhi.
