I've been in the tech startup scene for 12 years since 2010 when I was a college student, founded 6 startups in various industries with 2 exits. Worked for Rocket Internet, helped them venture build startup from scratch, scale it to 9 countries in South East Asia market, to reach 8-figures exit. I'm also an Angel Investor in few startups and startup Mentor for university students accross Indonesia through a student startup program, supported by Indonesia government, Ministry of Education and Culture. At 2010, when I was in college , I started my first startup because my Dad was bankrupt. I worked at 6 different jobs to earn money for my living, pay my dorm room rent, pay my tuition fee, buy books and for foods. Earned my first $10k, then use it to fund my 1st startup, even there were no VC yet in the market, super small talent pool who knows about startup. I want to give back to the society, to other student founders, that everything is possible. Don't think about Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs, there's also another ex-student founder that exists and made it, nearby in Indonesia as an example.
