WebPass and hitois, which stocks and distributes logs and data linked to WebPass, realize an innovative and futuristic web infrastructure.
We already have a roadmap for that.
Here, we will introduce new web services using WebPass and hitois that make you feel the near future.
- ~September 2022
"WebPass Logs" service launched
As of September 2022, it has already been released as the most basic function of WebPass, which aggregates the activity log of the owner of the WebPass ID and displays it in a timeline.
- October 2022
"WebPass Stickers" service will be launched
You will be able to paste your own stickers when posting comments on websites and web services that support WebPass.
WebPass enables the entire web to become a sticker-based communication.
Even a simple web bulletin board can be transformed into a community where you can express your feelings with stickers.

"WebPass Photos" service will be launched
Websites and services that support WebPass can be easily turned into a photo-sharing community.
You can turn the entire web into a photo sharing community without depending on a specific SNS.
Comments and ratings on a photo are attached to the photo itself, not the community, so they stay with the photo when you move it.
For example, if a photo posted to a community has a comment attached to it, and that photo is also posted to your own blog, you can view the comment from the community on your blog.
Also, if you post a comment on a photo on that blog, that comment will be reflected in the community.

"WebPass Movies" service will be launched
Websites and services that support WebPass can be easily turned into video-sharing communities.
You can turn the entire web into a video sharing community without depending on a specific SNS.
Comments and ratings on videos are attached to the video itself, not the community, so they stay with the video even if you move it.
For example, if a video posted to a community has comments and you post the video to your own blog, the comments from the community can be viewed on your blog.
Also, if you post a comment on a video on that blog, that comment will also be reflected in the community.

“hitois Fan Token” service will be started
This function allows hitois users to issue and sell their own fan tokens on hitois.
Fan Tokens use the Ethereum blockchain.
Fans who have fan tokens can use special benefits provided by hitois users.
The purpose is to increase the number of fans using hitois and to raise funds when starting a business.
Fan Tokens can be bought and sold in virtual currency and can be resold to other fans like membership rights.

“WebPass Signature” service will be launched
This is a standard that enables a WebPass ID, which is a domain format, to be obtained from a handwritten signature using a camera such as a smartphone.
For example, if you scan the signature displayed in the corner of a photo, painting, or video with a smartphone camera, you can access the site (personal portal site on hitois) of the owner of that signature (author of the photo, painting, or video), or You can display the basic information of them.
A "WebPass Signature printer" is also planned.
With a small portable printer, you can use a smartphone app to output a scannable signature on paper.
If you print your signature on documents such as contracts with the "WebPass Signature Printer", the other party will be able to scan it with a smartphone and verify your identity.
* When printing from the printer, the output log is recorded in WebPass Logs to ensure authenticity.

"WebPass Portable" project will be started in earnest
This is a standard development plan that enables the use of purchased digital data in any service or space that supports WebPass.
For example, digital data (clothes, etc.) purchased at one online shop can be brought to another Metaverse and used (for example, worn).
Also, items purchased in one Metaverse can be used in another Metaverse.
The owner of the item is verified by WebPass, and the storage location (WebPass Stock) is a WebPass service such as hitois.
* WebPass Portable requires the creation of a standard that enables sharing of possessed items with web services, sites, Metaverses, etc., and we believe that standardization between Metaverses is particularly important, which is a time-consuming task. The standardization movement is planned to start before 2023.
The future Metaverse that Kinois thinks about
The current Metaverse is a centralized one provided by large companies, but I imagine that in the future even small and medium-sized companies and individuals will be able to design and publish their own metaverses (utilization of open source Metaverses).
In other words, you will be able to publish your own Metaverse in the same way as a website.
The address of the Kinois website is "https://www.kinois.net", but for example, an address such as "https://meta.kinois.net" can be used to publish a Metaverse that introduces Kinois services.
WebPass will be a common ID that can be used across various metaverses.
And with WebPass, users can bring their belongings, money, etc. to various metaverses and use them.
For example, in the case of an automobile manufacturer, the digital data of a sports car is first sold, and then the car is actually driven on circuits around the world and in the metaverse of towns.
Automakers can expect to reduce risks and costs in new car development by making improvements based on feedback from users and using it to sell actual cars.
