Today's Search Engines Find Contents
Search engines such as Google can find "content" assigned addresses, but cannot find "people".
Strictly speaking, you can find celebrities introduced on Wikipedia etc.
However, in many cases, name searches are the focus, even for celebrities.
For celebrities, searching by name is usually sufficient, but for example, if there is a desire to "cooperate with someone who has this ability," current search engines are almost impossible to find.
Of course, if you use a human resources database where experts are registered, you can find people, but searching for human resources by searching on one platform, a human resource database, means that you cannot fully utilize the capabilities of the web.
Concrete example
kinois has been raising funds since August 2022 for business expansion.
We are looking for investors who are interested in "WebPass", not only VCs but also angel investors.
However, it is not possible to find investors who are interested in "WebPass" on Google.
In order to find investors, if you are in Japan, you need to register with an investor-entrepreneur matching platform such as "Good Angel", "Founder", or "Protocol".
And each service needs to register its own explanation, that is, "about WebPass", "about kinois", etc.
This is despite the fact that these registration details are basically published on the kinois website.
In order to use the above three services, it is necessary to register the content published on the website to three more platforms.
This is as true for investors as it is for entrepreneurs.
Also, the search capabilities of these platforms are weak compared to Google search, and you can only search by name, title, etc.
Moreover, only the content registered on each platform can be searched.
It is said that many investors want to see not only the business content and ideas, but also the personality of the person, but with such a matching platform, it is almost impossible to do so.
If you can find "people" from the whole web
If investors post their own thoughts, daily events, opinions and thoughts about others on public services such as blogs and bulletin boards, and those posts are guaranteed to be the same person .
Advanced search engines like Google will be able to find the investor.
A certain investor's WebPass ID is "iamangel.hitois.net", and he uses this ID to post daily on a public posting service or his own blog.
Google's search engine analyzes these posts as opinions and thoughts of "iamangel.hitois.net", and when a person search people who have such opinions and thoughts search on Google, the investor is displayed in the search results.
This ID "iamangel.hitois.net" will be the address of this investor's portal site as it is, so Google will adopt "https://iamangel.hitois.net" as the link destination of the search results, Clicking on this link text will take you to the investor's portal site.
The loss of costing the human resources database
Current human resource databases are divided into those in which information is collected manually at a cost and converted into data, and those in which individuals register their own data in the human resource database.
The aforementioned investor-entrepreneur matching platform is the latter.
In the latter, the database is built without cost for the management side, but users have to pay a membership fee, etc., so there is a cost to use it.
Even if users spend money, as mentioned above, the search function is poor to find the person they want, and it is difficult to get results that are worth the cost.
In addition, investors' desire to see entrepreneurial character is unmet.
Paying to use such a service is somewhat disconcerting.
The current situation clearly âLossesâ outweigh âOpportunitiesâ.
Investors and entrepreneurs will be able to find people overwhelmingly if artificial intelligence such as Google analyzes what investors and entrepreneurs casually post on public places and makes it indexable and searchable. You can expect lower costs and more opportunities.
